Admissions for Academic Year 2010 have Commenced

Folks, those of you who have been planning to enroll courses in SCDL this year, now is the time. Admission is open for the various courses (refer to eBrochure) offered by SCDL this year. What's new? This time they are offering prospectus buying through online (in SCDL website). So, it is lot easier and less hassle now.

SCDL Live EDU E-mail - How to use it

We all have a Live EDU e-mail id from SCDL and they told we will be doing communications with SCDL through this e-mail. But only very few of us know how to use this e-mail and especially, for a new student, it is extremely confusing how to setup the new e-mail box. New students do not see a mail box link in the login.

Folks around here who are studying the papers have felt the need of having a reference book, especially for the paper Management Accounting. There are numerical problems in the exercise which we must crack before attempting exams. And lot of time folks came back to me saying they are totally clueless whether the solutions they are doing can be validated. Also, for some people it has been a problem to understand the topic itself with a lack of elaborate explanation.

Many of us are curious on how this self paced study system works and what are the schedules, mandates, deadlines so that we can plan well for the course study.

Most of us have received the study materials by now (if not please check SLM Dispatch in your login or write to studymaterial@scdl.net) and have started with the papers.
But any professional course needs planning to finish it in time and come out with fair results and to plan well we would want to know the following and the answers

Recorded Video Lecture DVD

The recorded video lecture DVDs can be ordered from SCDL at the cost of Rs. 200/- per DVD (does not matter you order one or more).

PGDBA E-Learning Is Activated

E-Learning facility by SCDL has been activated for 2009 batch students in the student portal (for those who have paid the 1st installment of the program fees). Login to the Student Center using the credentials that was given in your admission confirmation letter. Click on

Why PGDBA/PGDBM over MBA?

Well, most of us have been through this question more or less when selecting higher study options.

And this has been discussed in so many places that it might sound sore here!

Study Kit Dispatch
